I DO NOT RECOMMEND “DISTROKID„ for An Independent Musician like Me

 The Reason isn’t hidden

I joined Distrokid in 20 May 2021 until 20 May 2025. Do you know why I stopped using Distrokid ? It’s because of yearly or annual fee, I was broke on 20 May 2025 as an Independent Musician I don’t have money and Distrokid doesn’t pay me well but I spent a lot to them. 


Distrokid agreement’s:


When you didn’t pay annual fee they removed all your music in all digital platforms if you didn’t protect your music. Google how to protect your music on Distrokid forever. You’ll loose all your listeners on Spotify and etc.
It’s like leaving a “Record Label” when you stop using Distrokid.

To be honest, Distrokid it’s the best music distributor, they don’t take any credit from your songs you just pay annually fee, that’s all they take from you. So if you want to join Distrokid please read their terms and conditions.

If you’re a musician and an independent musician please don’t use Distrokid if you don’t or won’t have money to pay Distrokid annual fees.
